This Privacy Policy explains how Unchaos Living (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our platform or visit our website. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable European data protection law.

1. What data we collect

When you request an invite:

• Full name and email address
• Profession and career stage
• Country of practice and therapeutic modality (optional)
• What you are hoping to find on the platform (optional)
• Your consent preferences (terms acceptance, email marketing consent)

When you create an account:

• Email address and password (stored as a secure hash)
• Profile information: name, professional title, career stage, modalities, bio, country
• Profile photo (if uploaded)

When you use the platform:

• Activity within circles and pods (membership, RSVP, session attendance)
• Content you share in your profile or within the platform
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, session logs

When you subscribe to our mailing list:

• Email address and consent timestamp

• Invite requests: retained for up to 2 years, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Account data: retained for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
• Billing records: retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
• Mailing list subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe.
• Technical/log data: retained for up to 90 days.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers necessary to operate the platform, all of whom are bound by data processing agreements:

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

We use only the cookies strictly necessary to operate the platform (authentication sessions). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics at this time.

7. Security

We take data security seriously. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We conduct regular reviews of our security practices.

In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours as required by GDPR.

8. Children

The platform is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the platform. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
